When starting a comic book collection, you first have to find a title to collect that catches your interest. You will need the drive of interest to ensure that you will continue on with the endeavor. Most people want to have a comic book collection that other people would have interest in as well. Major names in the comic book industry that have helped create or conceptualize the project adds to the value of the collection as well.

Strive to make a complete set. This means doing your research. Try using the internet to find out if it’s still possible to get a complete set of a certain series that you like. Make sure that you can have a ballpark figure of what it would take you to get a hold of a complete collection.
